Leon Pryce has offer from Featherstone Rovers

Catalan Dragons half-back Leon Pryce has an offer to join Featherstone Rovers from next season onwards, after Rovers majority shareholder Feisal Nahaboo revealed they have bid for his services.

Pryce is out of contract with the Dragons at the end of the year, and Nahaboo insists they want him on board in West Yorkshire to help launch an assault on Super League.

“We have tabled what we believe – according to agents – the biggest offer on the table for Leon Pryce from Catalan Dragons. We’ve made it very clear we want him here and to help with the charge next season,” Nahaboo said.

Nahaboo also said they had agreed terms with Garreth Carvell to join the club, but they felt it was in the best interests of everyone involved for him to join Castleford. He did say they have not ruled out him joining next year, though.
