Ahead of the 10th annual Magic Weekend this weekend in Newcastle, we decided to delve into the archives and try and work out which teams are the best performing sides on the biggest stage of all.
Most of the current crop in Super League have participated in all nine Magic Weekend events in the past – as well as current Championship sides Bradford and London.
So we’ve compiled the table that really matters – and lined up all 16 sides to have played at Magic in our unique table! As you can see, it’s Huddersfield who are one of the surprise packages when it comes to Magic – but they’re narrowly outdone by Wigan Warriors, who have picked up 15 points at the event.
And a win for Widnes in the opening game of 2015 consigns Bradford to becoming the team that have picked up the least points in Magic history.
(Teams that have played fewer games than others with the same points are ranked higher, out of fairness!)
