Michaels set for Hull FC departure

Hull FC winger Steve Michaels is resigned to leaving Super League at the end of this year after he revealed he has received no offers for 2017.

Michaels, who joined the Black and Whites in 2015 from the Gold Coast Titans, is off-contract at the end of this season. The Australian said he has not been offered a new contract by Hull FC or by any other Super League clubs.

“There’s no decisions to be made,” Michaels told League Express. “I’ve had no offers from them or from anywhere at this stage. I could just be packing up and going back home. I definitely feel like I’ve got more to offer. But my main focus is this year. If it’s meant to be it’s meant to be. But I feel like I’ve got a bit more rugby left in me.”
