Mika signs for Toulouse

Toulouse have reasserted their lofty ambitions by signing former Hull KR forward Con Mika from July 1st.

The 26-year has most recently been playing for rugby union side Provence Rugby in the second-tier of France’s domestic competition.

However, he has now set his sights on eventually taking Toulouse to the Super League, with his initial goal to help the French outfit earn promotion to the Championship.

Mika is a Samoan international who originally made a name for himself playing for the Newcastle Knights. He followed Craig Sandercock to Rovers for the 2012 season, staying in East Hull for two years before returning to the Southern Hemisphere in 2014. He went to France in the summer of last year, but he is now set on a return to the 13-man code.
