Myler leaving? No chance, say Warrington Wolves

Warrington Wolves have refuted claims that they are about to let Richie Myler leave the club, after speculation linking him with a move to rival Super League club Hull KR earlier this week.

It had been suggested that the Rovers were interested in taking on the services of Myler, who has extra competition for 2015 with the signing of Gary Wheeler from St Helens. Myler finished the season strongly for Warrington in a flourishing partnership with Gareth O’Brien, but has just one season left on his current contract with the Wolves.

However, Warrington chief executive Andy Gatcliffe confirmed to the media that there is no truth in the rumours linking Myler with a move to Humberside – and the club have no interest in letting the £200,000 man leave the club.

“There is no interest from us in letting Richie Myler go. It’s just message board rumours. There has been no contact from us with Hull Kingston Rovers.”
