Newcastle Thunder sign three including Bradford Bulls youngster

NEWCASTLE THUNDER have signed three new players as well as retaining another from 2024.

Owen-Tyler Cole, Seth Clapham and Alex Taylor will all don the Thunder shirt this year, while Lloyd Hall has signed an extension with the club.

Cole is a product of the Thunder scholarship and Catterick Crusaders, played for the England Community Lions’ Under-17s for their series with France last year, and has joined from rugby union club Darlington.

Clapham arrives from Bradford’s academy after also coming through Newcastle’s youth system, where he earned caps for Scotland at an Under-16 and Under-19 level.

Taylor has also made the switch from rugby union, in which he played for Wallsend.

Teenager Hall made two appearances for Newcastle last season, against Wakefield in the 1895 Cup and Midlands in League One.
