Dane Nielsen has completed his anticipated return to the NRL by signing for South Sydney Rabbitohs on a two-year deal.
The former Bradford centre left the Bulls after just six months in West Yorkshire after deciding to get his career in Australia back on track.
He was part of a controversy last year that culminated in him being sacked by former employers St George Illawarra for allegedly biting a woman’s leg on a night out.
That resulted in his move to Bradford, and although he signed until the end of the 2016 season, the two parties agreed his release.
“Dane brings with him big game experience which will be invaluable for the young members of our backline,” said Rabbitohs head coach Michael Maguire.
“He’s prepared to put in the work and fight for a spot in our backline, and competition for spots is what every Club looks for.
“We’re looking forward to having him join the squad this week.”
