Noble confirms London Broncos talks

Former Salford and Bradford coach Brian Noble has admitted that he is in talks with Championship club London Broncos to help out current interim boss Andrew Henderson.

Noble has been out of work since leaving Salford Red Devils last year, but told BBC 5 Live Sports Extra last night that he is in discussions with the Broncos, and would love to be brought in to help out Henderson.

Noble also reiterated that he believes Henderson should be entrusted with the coaching role, saying he’s a “big fan” of the former Sheffield stalwart.

“There’s an element of truth in the rumour. It’s not done yet but I’m hoping it can be done,” he said.

“I’m a big fan of Andrew Henderson. We’ve worked together and I like his talent as a coach.

“I think he should be the coach but if he needs my assistance in some way, I think it would be something I could probably do. We’re clearly not over the line but we’re in discussions.”
