Mathias Pala has signed a new one year deal with Catalan Dragons, with an option for the 2015 season.
“I’m delighted and proud to stay at the club,” said Pala. “I’m still learning and I want to continue my progression and cement my place in the backline.”
Pala, 24 years old, was named in the France 24 man squad for the Rugby League World Cup but has been ruled out of the tournament with a shoulder injury.
The Catalan centre made 12 Super League appearances in 2013 and scored 3 tries.
“He is one of the young talents coming through at the club. He went one step further this season and we’re really confident that he will be a great player for our club in the future,” said Catalan Dragons CEO Christophe Jouffret.
