Palea’aesina signs new deal with Hull FC

Hull FC forward Feka Palea’aesina has revealed his delight at signing a new contract with the club – and admitted he never really wanted to go anywhere else.

The towering prop will remain with the Black and Whites for 2016 after agreeing the deal and, speaking to the club’s official website, he said he’s delighted to be continuing his work on and off the field.

“I’m over the moon. I’ve always wanted to stay at this great club that has done so much for me,” he said.

“I’ve had a great time here so far and I’m just happy the deal is done. I am proud to be part of Hull FC and now I hope I can finish the season strongly.

“My work with the Community Foundation is something I really enjoy and is now something I can look to pursue further.”

Hull FC head coach Lee Radford said: “Feka has been a solid signing for us since coming over from France and has had a really positive effect on the rest of the squad.

“He is a true professional and still makes a big impact coming off the bench.

“His work with the Community Foundation shows how much he cares about the game and he has given a lot back to the fans.

“He has always been really approachable for fans and I hope he can finish this season on a high going into 2016.”
