Paterson found not guilty at disciplinary hearing

Salford Red Devils forward Corey Paterson is one of two players found not guilty at Wednesday night’s disciplinary hearing at the RFL.

Paterson was found not guilty for a Grade B striking charge relating to use of the forearm/elbow during their defeat against Warrington Wolves.

However, Adam Walne pleaded guilty to two charges of Grade C dangerous contact and was suspended for three matches – meaning he misses the Magic Weekend game against Widnes Vikings.

Catalans hooker Ian Henderson was the other player to be found not guilty, meaning he is available to play against Huddersfield on Sunday.
