BARROW RAIDERS coach Paul Crarey says completion is crucial as he sets sights on success at Oldham.
The Cumbrians go to Boundary Park on Sunday for what the seasoned team chief accepts will be a tough test.
Barrow, who have signed former forward Ellis Gillam on loan from Toulouse and handed homegrown hooker Fin Dutton-Rosconie his first professional deal, were beaten 40-18 at home by the Roughyeds in May, but then totted up six wins in succession.
That sequence was snapped by the recent 30-6 home defeat by Newcastle, while on Saturday, the Raiders lost 24-8 at Widnes.
They have 14 victories in 19 in the league, and Crarey said: “Completion is so important, especially against the top sides.
“When we reach 80 or 90 percent, we are a match for anyone, but recently, we have dipped down into the 60s, at least for a half, and it has cost us.
“We’ve been trying to score off every play, but there are times you have to be more patient.”
