President’s Cup beckons!

THE long-awaited 2019 President’s Cup, which will again involve Great Britain Police, Great Britain Teachers and the UK Armed Forces, together with holders England Universities, gets underway tomorrow (Wednesday 10 April), at Twist Lane, the home of Leigh Miners Rangers.

The Police take on the Armed Forces at 6.00pm, and the Students and the Teachers go head-to-head at 8.00pm.

UK Armed Forces have confirmed their squad, which comprises Declan Baines, Ben Cartmell, Sam Coleman, Mike Harrison, Pete Holmes, Mickey Hoyle, Mark Keenan, Jordan Kerman, Jamie Laing, Uraia Naulusala, Kieron Roche (all Army), Nathan Barker, Liam Bradley, Sam Breeze, Dan Collinson, Lewis Farr, Adam Flintham, Ben Mellor, Si Wray (all RAF), Jack Basher, Luke Cooper, Josh Coupland, Johnny Griffiths, Danny Heaton, Nathan Lee, Ben Taylor (all Royal Navy).
