Pressure on us, says Castleford Tigers star

Castleford Tigers forward Andy Lynch says there is pressure on the team this weekend, as they attempt to avoid being the first team to lose to London Broncos in 2014.

The Broncos have yet to pick up a point in Super League this season and, with just five games left in the regular season, Lynch believes they cannot afford to drop anymore points – saying that five wins from five may be needed to secure a top-four finish.

“They’ve got some quality players, and you don’t want to be the first team to lose to London. There will be a little bit of pressure on us in that sense because they’ll think we’ll be worrying about the cup,” Lynch said.

“I don’t think we can afford to drop anymore points this year but luckily last weekend, the results seemed to go for us. It’s really tight, you can’t afford to drop two points because you could drop quite far down the table.”
