Pritchard charged by The RFL… but could avoid suspension

Frank Pritchard has been charged with a Grade A offence following Sunday’s Test match between Samoa and Tonga, but he could avoid a suspension.

The popular forward made the headlines over the weekend following a nasty looking tackle on former Catalans winger Michael Oldfield.

It was an incident put on report by the referee, with The RFL match review panel left to decide the punishment.

And while they have charged him, ‘The Tank’ has yet to use his Early Guilty Plea so he could, therefore, be let off the hook.

No further punishment would be a massive boost to the Airlie Birds, who take on Wigan this Friday.
