Pryce’s season confirmed as over, admits Radford

Hull FC coach Lee Radford has confirmed that half-back Leon Pryce will miss the rest of the 2015 season.

Pryce left the field during FC’s derby victory against Hull KR with a shoulder injury and, after seeing a specialist this week, the torn rotator cuff he suffered will force him out for the remainder of 2015.

“He’s gone for the year,” Radford said. “He’ll have an operation next Tuesday.”

Pryce took to Twitter himself to confirm the news, saying he needs 12 weeks of recovery time following the blow.

“Had bad news from the specialist this week,” he tweeted. “Shoulder needs surgery and will take 12 weeks to recover so season done for me. Gutted.”
