After Wakefield managed to overcome Widnes by a narrow margin on Thursday night, the race for eighth spot in Super League 2014 has been blown wide open. Four teams are seperated by just four points after Wakefield’s victory, with Salford six off Widnes – but still well and truly in the mix.
A win for Hull Kingston Rovers at Leeds this evening would nudge Widnes out of the top eight, but with so many teams still in the hunt for just one place in the play-offs (barring an implosion from the Catalan Dragons), the race looks set to go down to the very last day of the season.
So, with that in mind, TotalRL.com are launching their own ‘race for the eight’, and giving you the lowdown on who every team has to face until the end of the season! Who will make the eight? Get involved on our social media channels and let us know!
