Hull FC coach Lee Radford admitted he was delighted for in-form winger Curtis Naughton, after his two-try heroics helped the Black and Whites to sink league leaders Warrington.
Naughton, who recently signed an extension to his contract which was due to expire at the end of this season, was the match-winner for Hull on Monday as they secured back-to-back wins over Easter with success against the Wolves, who were previously unbeaten heading into the game.
And Radford said that after his battle with former Hull winger Tom Lineham, he was delighted with Naughton’s latest performance.
“They were two good, young English wingers up against each other. It was a good battle and it was personal,” he said.
“I’m pleased for Curtis. He’s had two really solid games over the Easter period and shows why we have signed him beyond the end of the season. Hopefully he can keep progressing.”
