Lee Radford believes that half-back Leon Pryce’s vast experience in Rugby League has made the transition of his move to Hull FC incredibly easy – and says that all his squad have made a great start to pre-season.
The Black and Whites are back in training ahead of the 2015 season, with only a handful of players such as England’s Joe Westerman yet to start training. But of the players who are already in, Radford has been impressed with what he has seen so far.
And although he refused to pick out players individually, did say that Pryce’s wealth of experience has stood him in good stead for a return to England following a spell with Catalan Dragons.
“Leon has played for four different clubs now,” Radford told the Hull Daily Mail.
“He’s been there and done it, so coming into a new environment certainly isn’t a problem for him.
“All the players have been good, though and I’m delighted with the start we’ve made.”
