REPORT: Hull FC 30-10 Widnes Vikings

Hull FC celebrateHull FC maintained their two point lead at the top of the Super League with a comfortable victory over out-of-form Widnes Vikings.

Carlos Tuimavave’s converted try gave the hosts a 6-4 lead at half time with Rhys Hanbury replying for the Vikings.

But Hanbury’s try was only added to late on by Chris Dean for the visitors as Kirk Yeaman, Josh Bowden, Danny Houghton and Jamie Shaul’s second half tries added more gloss to the victory.

Widnes had ended an eight game unbeaten run last weekend with a narrow victory over Huddersfield Giants but their ninth loss in 10 keeps their top eight status in doubt.
