Former State of Origin prop Justin Poore may be forced to call time on his impressive career aged just 29.
The Hull KR stalwart fractured his knee cap in a match against Catalan Dragons on Easter Monday and was expected to return to action next April.
However, the injury is proving difficult to overcome and, according to the Hull Daily Mail, Poore is toying with the idea of retiring.
The former St George-Illawarra, Parramatta and Wakefield front-rower joined the Rovers at the start of this season but, due to suspensions and this knee problem, managed to make just seven appearances.
