When League Express asked its readers: “What is the best thing about the Australasian NRL competition?” the results were overwhelming to say the least:

The skill levels of the players – 50.72%

The quality of the TV coverage – 20.87%

The quality of the administration – 17.50%

The closeness of the competition – 7.22%

The size of the crowds – 3.69%
