Rugby League World brings in star columnists

Rugby League World magazine has revealed six Super League stars as monthly columnists in its latest issue, which is out in shops today.

The players all aim to tackle the game’s burning issues and provide the insight and knowledge only they can.

Here’s who has joined the team and what they have written about in their debut issue:

EORL CRABTREE (Huddersfield Giants)
Topic: Why retiring from Rugby League is a daunting prospect (and how it needs to change)
Quote: “We players are nothing more than pieces of meat. We always have been.”

RYAN HALL (Leeds Rhinos)
Topic: Diagnosing Rugby League’s international struggles
Quote: “Why should the Australians dictate the strength of our sport? If they don’t want to play us, that’s fine.”

DAN SARGINSON (Wigan Warriors)
Topic: Why we should take advantage of London as a RL resource
Quote: “I’ve spoken to many Australians and Kiwis who live in London and love Rugby League, but don’t want to watch a losing team.”
