Rumours of Leeds star leaving are ‘pure speculation’, insists chief executive

Leeds Rhinos chief executive Gary Hetherington has labelled rumours linking Ryan Hall with a move to rugby union as “pure speculation”.

Hetherington insists that no more stars will leave the club this season, and played down talk of Hall being unhappy and clamouring for a cross-code move, with one newspaper report suggesting Sale were interested in the services of the winger.

“It’s just pure speculation,” Hetherington told League Express.

“We don’t anticipate any changes at all, whether it’s in or out, for the rest of the season now.”
