St Helens forward Kyle Amor insists that the defending Super League champions must step up their game in 2015, as they look to retain the title they won at Old Trafford in October.
The win against Wigan Warriors was the Saints’ first at Old Trafford since 2006, after a number of heartbreaking defeats in the Super League Grand Final since that win. And with a tough start on the fixture calendar – Saints open up against play-off semi-finalists Catalans Dragons – Amor knows that they will have a huge target on their heads in 2015.
“We have a tough start to the season and as we are Champions we know everyone will be looking to knock us off,” Amor said.
“We will have to raise our game once again and step up to that challenge.
“The boys are looking fit at the moment and we are doing all the right things to prepare ourselves for 2015.”
