Salford Red Devils have confirmed the signing of Wigan Warriors forward Lee Mossop.
As revealed in League Express, the Warriors forward lands at the Red Devils as one of their major signings of the season, helping to fill the void left by Luke Burgess after his move to Catalans.
“Lee is a great addition to our squad,” said head coach Ian Watson.
“He adds depth to our pack and brings with him plenty of experience at the highest level. With the squad we already have in place I think Lee can have a big impact on our season as we look to build on last year.”
Mossop is the fourth addition to Watson’s squad for 2017, with Daniel Murray, Kris Brining and Lama Tasi also joining the club for the new season.
Salford Red Devils C.E.O Ian Blease is happy to be able to welcome Mossop to the AJ Bell Stadium, and is enthused by the way the squad is shaping up for 2017;
“The squad is virtually now complete with an emphasis on experience which Lee brings to this club, the club will also mix the experience with youth with the likes of Josh Wood, Jake Bibby and Ryan Lannon challenging the senior members of the squad for next years shirts.”
