Hull FC are set to make a bid to sign Catalan Dragons scrum-half – and 2012 Albert Goldthorpe Medal winner – Scott Dureau.
The Australian was de-registered by the French club recently to make room for new signing Sam Williams, but was told he still has a future with the Dragons and is under contract until 2015.
He has recently recovered from a bicep injury but was left out of Laurent Frayssinous’ side that defeated the Airlie Birds last week. The French coach is said to be willing to let Dureau leave on a loan deal but does not want to lose him permanently, while Lee Radford wants the 27-year-old as a long-term solution to his half-back problems.
