Sculthorpe and Kamara to conduct semi-final draw

Former Great Britain and St Helens star Paul Sculthorpe MBE and television presenter Chris Kamara will conduct the draw for the semi-finals of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup live on BBC Two at Langtree Park, St Helens on Sunday June 28.

Sculthorpe won the Challenge Cup with St Helens four times in 2001, 2004, 2006 and in his final game for the club in 2008. He scored over 1,300 career points for Saints and Warrington and is still the only player to win back-to-back Man of Steel awards.

Former footballer and manager, Kamara played for teams such as Bradford City, Stoke City and Leeds United in the 70s, 80s and 90s. The television personality and Ladbrokes Challenge Cup ambassador can now be seen presenting popular Saturday night show Ninja Warrior UK and offering his unique perspective on Goals on Sunday.

The BBC will broadcast the semi-final draw on BBC Two on Sunday June 28 following the completion of the quarter-final tie, St Helens v Widnes Vikings (4.00pm kick-off).
