Hull FC coach Lee Radford admits he does not know how long the club will be without Setaimata Sa for, after it was confirmed the centre has suffered a fracture in his vertebra.
Radford admitted that with the injury it’s impossible to gauge just how long he will be out for, and described the blow as a “massive disappointment”.
“We’ll have to keep going back to the specialist and waiting to see,” Radford told the media.
“With any fracture it is just a case of waiting to see how it heels. Fingers crossed it won’t be too long, but in terms of length we just don’t know right now.
“It’s a massive disappointment. He (Sa) had a few injuries last year, but we could kind of accept that because he came in midway during the year and hadn’t had a pre-season.
“Now with a full pre-season behind him, to have picked up the niggles he has, is a disappointment for us and now this one.”
