Shaul developing relationship with Hull halves

Hull FC fullback Jamie Shaul says his understanding and partnership with the club’s new half-backs is growing all the time, and it will still be a while before they completely know each others games.

The Black and Whites recruited Leon Pryce and Marc Sneyd for 2015, and although Sneyd is currently sidelined injured, Pryce and Shaul have played a key role in two successive wins for Hull in recent weeks.

And the fullback says that with just ten weeks gone of the season, there is still time for the relationships and partnerships at the club to get even better.

“Me and the half-backs are still getting to know each other. You have to work together and I am trying to link up with them as much as I can,” he told the Hull Daily Mail.

“We’ve got two great halves and hopefully they can put me in some holes.

“We’ve taken a lot from Friday against Widnes and winning at St Helens and we’ll take that into the cup on Sunday.”
