Castleford coach Daryl Powell has named a strong 21 man squad to face Widnes Vikings in a pre season friendly at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle on Sunday 25th January, KO 3.00pm.
The match will see a welcome return for club captain Michael Shenton, who makes his first appearance of pre-season. Shenton said: “It’s great to be back involved with the team, we’ve improved with each game so far so we’ll be looking for another improvement against Widnes, who themselves have recruited very well this season. This game should be a good marker as to where we are at as a team.”
