Singleton extends Leeds stay

Brad Singleton has signed a new contract with Leeds Rhinos.

The Ireland international has penned a new deal that sees him extend his existing deal for an additional year, which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2020 season.

The 25-year-old has established himself in the Leeds sides over the last several years and has made 141 appearances.

“It was not a hard decision given the size of the club and how long I have been here,” he said.

“The club have always looked after me and my family, we are in a great position here as a family with my partner and I and our little one with another on the way this summer. It was an easy decision for us and it is great to get it out of the way early so it does not become an issue moving forward.

“When I look around Emerald Headingley, it is hard to take in the size of the new stands and imagine what it will be like when it is finished. It is going to be up there with the top stadiums in the country and I can’t wait.”
