Hull KR full-back Ken Sio has played down talk of an imminent return to the NRL with South Sydney – insisting he knows nothing about any reported interest.
The former Parramatta winger – who has been handed the number one shirt by KR boss Chris Chester for 2016 – has been reportedly gathering interest back in the NRL, with the Rabbitohs the club heavily linked over a play for his services.
However, speaking at the club’s media day yesterday, Sio dampened talk of an NRL return, saying he’s not spoken to his management about any transfer.
“There’s nothing in there,” he said.
“I haven’t spoken to my manager yet, but we’ll see how we go.
“I’ve got two more years here and I’m not too sure, but if the opportunity comes I’ll talk about it with my partner and see what’s best for us and the little ones.”
