Rohan Smith will be present when the Bradford Bulls take on Swinton this Sunday after his visa was successfully processed.
The new Bulls head coach departed Australia on Thursday and is expected in the country by Friday evening.
His first match at the club will be against the in form Swinton Lions, who have won their last five matches and are just four points behind the Bulls in the league.
“It became very real this afternoon when the knock on the door came with my passport and visa,” Smith told the club’s official website.
“It’s time to get over to Bradford and get cracking.
“Over the past few weeks I’ve been looking through the footage and trying to understand individuals and the style of play they are currently playing.”
