Sneyd excited to work with experienced Hull stars

New Hull FC signing Marc Sneyd believes that he can keep developing as a player in 2015, and says that working alongside top stars such as Gareth Ellis and Danny Houghton will help him take his game to the next level.

Sneyd has signed on at the KC Stadium for the next three years after an impressive loan spell at Castleford in 2014, and he said that he is confident he can kick on again next year and help Hull bounce back after a disappointing season.

“Looking at the personnel in the team for 2015, I am confident I’ll be able to maintain that form,” Sneyd told the Hull Daily Mail. “It will be good to work with Gareth Ellis, Danny Houghton and Kirk Yeaman who have achieved a lot. They will bring a lot of experience.”

Sneyd has also admitted he is excited about working with new half-back partner Leon Pryce, a man who will bring a wealth of experience to the party at Hull next year, having won Super League honours with both Bradford and St Helens.

“Leon has won pretty much everything that you can win, so I am looking to learn a lot off him. Hopefully, it will progress my game by just being on the same pitch as him,” he said.

“I have been lucky enough to have a taste of Wembley and play-off football. I want to keep progressing and for me Hull is the place to do that.”
