Solomona registered by Sale as cross-code move nears completion

Denny Solomona’s cross-code switch to rugby union is nearing completion after it emerged that he has been registered in Sale’s squad for the rugby union Champions Cup.

Castleford have begun legal proceedings against the winger after he failed to arrive for pre-season training last month, and on Monday, League Express revealed how the 23-year-old had been granted a work permit for his switch to the 15-man code.

Now, it has emerged that he has been registered by Sale, which is another step closer to his switch from league nearing completion.

Solomona informed Castleford he had retired from Rugby League last month, and it is understood the issue between Solomona and Castleford is still some way off completion itself.
