St George snap losing streak

St George playmaker Corey Norman returned from injury to inspire his team to snap a five-game losing streak with a 36-12 win over Canterbury Bulldogs.

After Raymond Faitala-Mariner had given the hosts the lead, the Dragons replied with three first-half tries to earn a commanding lead. Mikaele Ravalawa, Norman and Jonus Pearson all crossed.

Ben Hunt and Zac Lomax added to the Dogs’ misery before Kieran Foran struck for Canterbury but it was a mere consolation. Ravalawa even got his second try of the game to end the evening on a high note for the victorious Dragons.
