ST HELENS and Hull FC will join Warrington Wolves and Wigan Warriors in taking a Super League fixture on the road to Dublin next year.

After Warrington face Wigan on Saturday, April 24 at the Laya Arena, Saints and Hull will do battle the following day

Laya Arena is the home ground of Irish rugby union giants Leinster and has a capacity exceeding 20,000.

St.Helens chairman Eamonn McManus said: “What a weekend in Dublin this will prove to be for Saints fans.

“It will be quite something and not one to miss. It’s a great opportunity to showcase our sport and its following in one of the great world sporting cities.

“I would urge fans to put this weekend in the diary, as we work on travel and ticketing arrangements which we will announce as soon as practicable.”

Hull chairman Andrew Thirkill said: “We are absolutely delighted to be taking Hull FC to Dublin in 2027. This is an exciting initiative for our club, our supporters and for the sport as a whole.

“Hull FC has one of the largest and most passionate travelling fan bases in Super League, and we know our supporters enjoy making special occasions of away fixtures. Dublin provides the perfect destination for what we hope will become a fantastic Rugby League weekend.

“We are pleased to be working alongside St Helens on our fixture and collectively with Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves to deliver something that we believe will be a tremendous spectacle both on and off the field.
