JACKSON HASTINGS has been banned for three games following a Grade E punching charge in the aftermath of St Helens’ win over Castleford Tigers on Saturday.

Hastings was involved in an altercation with Castleford’s Tyler Dupree shortly before half-time, which saw the former red carded and the latter sinbinned.

The halfback will now sit out his side’s next three games – which would mean that if Saints do not qualify for the play-offs, Hastings will miss the rest of the campaign.

Elsewhere, nine other Super League players were also charged, including Hastings’ teammates Alex Walmsley and Chris Matagi.

Leigh Leopards will be without prop Loghan Lewis for Friday’s trip Huddersfield Giants after he received a one-match ban for Grade B head contact.
