Sheffield Eagles have announced that long-serving forward Mitch Stringer has left the club with immediate effect.
No reason has been given for Stringer’s departure from the club, but the former Sheffield captain is now understood to be taking up a deal with another Championship side.
The Eagles simply sent a short tweet out on Thursday detailing that the forward had left the club, with no further comment being made by the full-timers.
They simply said:
Mitch Stringer has left the club with immediate effect. The club will make no further statement at this time.
