Super League Grand Final a sell-out as Warrington and Wakefield do battle

THE Super League Grand Final is officially sold out, with a capacity crowd set to bring the curtain down on a record-breaking season.

The sold-out Grand Final at Old Trafford, where Warrington Wolves meet Wakefield Trinity, means that the competition will surpass two million spectators across the season for the first time in its history.

More than two million fans will have attended Super League matches across the 2026 regular season and play-offs.

Rhodri Jones, Managing Director of RL Commercial, said: “Selling out the Betfred Super League Grand Final is a fantastic way to finish what has been a landmark season for the competition.

“To then pass two million attendances across the season for the first time is another significant milestone and a reflection of the incredible support our clubs and players have received throughout 2026.

“We’re incredibly proud of the numbers, but most importantly of the atmosphere and energy our fans have created at grounds across the country this year.

“Now we have a sold-out Old Trafford to look forward to, with everything in place for a brilliant Grand Final.”
