Taulapapa apologises for conduct

Newcastle Thunder veteran Misi Taulapapa has publically apologised after receiving a 4-match ban for ‘using offensive or obscene language.’

The 37-year-old pleaded guilty to a Grade E charge, receiving a £75 fine, and was subsequently left out of the club’s 28-22 victory over Oldham last week, which will act as one of the four suspended fixtures.

“I fully take responsibility for what I’ve said and it’s unacceptable in our game,” he said.

“The club does not accept this behaviour. I accept the RFL decision of my ban and I’m very lucky and grateful to get four weeks. Lessons will be learned and I hope to join my fellow teammates again soon.”
