Thursday 13: A Super League team with one player per country

With just a week to go until the new season, is bringing in another new feature for the 2016 campaign – the Thursday 13.

Each week before the action kicks off for another round, we’ll take to social media and ask you to build a team with a catch, as there will be a peculiar stipulation or circumstance attached to the selection.

This week, we’re aiming to show how diverse Super League is, with a XIII that is comprised with only ONE player per country. That means only one Australian, one Englishman and so on. Can it be done? We think so – check out our selection below and tweet us @leagueexpress or @rlworld if you think you can do any better!

Looking at the team, we’ve got a number of international captains in there – as well as, admittedly, a few who haven’t played internationally for a while now. But all 13 of those guys have been internationals at one time or another, and we’ve actually been able to pick from nine Super League clubs, too!
