TOULOUSE OLYMPIQUE have signed South Sydney Rabbitohs forward Henry O’Kane on a one-year deal.
O’Kane was most recently part of the Rabbitohs’ New South Wales Cup side, having made 29 appearances in two seasons, but he is yet to make his NRL debut.
The 23-year-old initially tried his hand at rugby union in Australia, but switched to league to sign professional terms with Wests Tigers before moving on to the Rabbitohs in 2024.
O’Kane was also part of Ireland’s squad in the 2022 Rugby League World Cup where he made one appearance against New Zealand.
Toulouse boss Sylvain Houles said: “We are delighted that Henry is joining us for this Super League season.
“He will strengthen our second row, possessing many of the characteristics we were looking for in that position, and we can’t wait to see him train and play with our team.”
O’Kane himself said: “I’m really looking forward to starting training with the team. I’m really excited to meet the lads and experience French culture.
“I’m motivated by this new challenge in a new environment and I can’t wait to be part of the club’s return to the Super League.”
The French club has already signed Tyler Dupree (Wigan, season-long loan), Mathieu Pons (Oldham), AJ Wallace (Hull KR) and Luke Polselli (London Broncos) for the 2026 campaign.
