St George Illawarra Paul McGregor says he doesn’t believe there “was too much in” Eto Nabuli’s hight tackle on Warrington’s Kevin Penny in the World Club Series match last night.
Nabuli coat-hangered Penny in the first half and was penalisied, but was not sent to the sin bin. The Dragons won the game 18-12 over the Wolves to start the World Club Series.
“I don’t buy into that sort of stuff,” McGregor told media last night.
“It was a reflex action. The bloke jumped up to his feet quicker than anyone. I don’t think there was too much in it.”
