Just days after the Warriors agreed to let their star British fullback Sam Tomkins to return to England for family reasons, they have managed to sign the talented New Zealand test player and Roosters fullback Roger Tuivasa-Sheck for 3 years.
Tuivasa-Sheck is in his fourth year at the Roosters, however this is his first season at fullback after having spent the previous years on the wing, but sharing the fullback duties with now retired fullback Anthony Minichiello.
The Warriors are excited about the signing, which has rectified the loss of Tomkins.
“Roger will fit in to our style of football. He is a dynamic runner and is only still learning the position and he is going to get better.”
