Warrington Wolves half-back Kurt Gidley has called on his side to tie up the race for the League Leader’s Shield a week early when they face Wigan on Friday night.
Victory for the Wolves would secure a first League Leader’s Shield since 2011, and a first in the 16-year professional career of Gidley, who has never finished top of the table before in his career.
And, speaking in the video below, Gidley wants Warrington to rise to the occasion and put any lingering doubts over a final-weekend battle for top spot by seeing off Shaun Wane’s men at the Halliwell Jones on Friday.
