Video highlights: Australia V USA

Australia progressed through to the semi-finals of the 2013 Rugby League World Cup, but they did so with a less than convincing second half performance.

The Australians went into the interval with a 38-point lead against the USA but were restricted to just four second-half tries.

Johnathan Thurston converted all four second-half scores after an indifferent first half kicking performance had seen the stand-off kick just three from eight attempts.

After Greg Inglis had crossed on 51 minutes his centre partner Jarryd Hayne scored a second half hat-trick to finish with a four-timer. As did Brett Morris, who scored all four of his in the first half.
