I spoke to Warrington head coach Tony Smith after his team secured their place in the Challenge Cup quarter-finals with a big win over Doncaster yesterday.
Wolves were too good for the Championship side, who rested several players, running out convincing 68-0 winners. Warrington posted 30 points in the first half and piled on another 38 in the second period, 36 scored by stand-off Chris Bridge alone. It was a good day for the home side but Smith praised the effort of Doncaster who were plucky underdogs and posed Warrington some defensive problems in the first half.
