Wakefield sign Ben Harrison from Warrington

Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have annocuned the signing of Ben Harrison on loan until the end of the season.

Harrison will join Trinity on loan until the end of the Super 8s with immediate effect from Super League side Warrington Wolves. TotalRL revealed yesterday that Wakefield were in the hunt for a Super League forward.

The former England International, who joined Warrington back in 2005 before making his first team debut in April 2006, has made 211 appearances, scoring 19 tries during his time with the Wolves.

Trinity head coach Chris Chester has spoken of the signing saying: “I am pleased that I have been able to secure Ben on loan, with the losses of Anthony England who is out for the year, Tom Johnstone and Mika Simon, I needed to strengthen the squad.

“Ben brings a wealth of experience to the side, he will be a great asset to the club and I look forward to working with him.”
